In 1993, Rick Howard and Mike Carroll thought of a better formula for a skateboard company, one that made products that their team would like and be proud of. From this concept Girl was Born. Girl Skateboards' team boast some of the most talented skaters in the world. Girl Riders include Mike Carroll, Eric Koston, Guy Mariano, Rick Howard, Rick McCrank, Paul Rodriguez, Brandon Biebel , Brian Anderson, Jereme Rogers, Jeron Wilson, Rudy Johnson and Tony Ferguson. Girl have just released their latest video; Yeah Right! Which is touted as the skate video of the year featuring all the Girl Family team. Yeah Right is the most expensive skateboard film ever with the some of the best skating ever seen in the one film. The Girl hardgoods range includes pro decks from your favorite riders in mostly narrower street shapes. The graphics are very art driven with contribution from artist such as Tony Larson, Andy Jenkins, Mike Leon, Andy Mueller and Rob Abeyta. Girl also offers a great range of clothing and accessories.
CHOCOLATE
Chocolate Skateboards started in 1994 as the sister company to Girl Skateboards. Chocolate's strong L.A. based team includes Scott Johnston, Mike York, Gino Iannucci, Richard Mulder, Chico Brenes, Kenny Anderson, Justin Eldridge, Jesus Fernandez, Ricardo Carvalho, Chris Roberts, new addition Marc Johnson and the Late, Great Keenan Milton. The Chocolate team can be seen in Girl's new film: Yeah Right! The Chocolate Hardgoods range offers pro decks in great street shapes with art direction by Evan Hecox. Chocolate also offers a great range of clothing and accessories.
ROYAL
Royal Trucks is another brainchild of the Girl Skateboards family. Launched in 2000 the brand offers a street specific truck with a great style in awesome colors. They have recently realeased the new Mid size truck as well as a second generation Royal Low. Diamond Supply Co. is the newest member of the Girl Family. Diamond make an innovative range of mounting hardware, bearings, accessories and apparel. Diamond has the most diverse team in skateboarding today, featuring; Mike Carroll, Bob Burnquist, Stevie Williams, Scott Johnston, Keith Hufnagel, Brian Anderson, Eric Koston, Danny Gonzalez, Brad Staba, Matt Field, Rodrigo Texiera, Bastien Salabanzi, John Cardiel, Julien Stranger, Tony Trujillo, Brandon Biebel, Rick Howard, Tony Ferguson, Josh Kalis, Kerry Getz, Arto Saari, Mike York, Richard Mulder, Danny Supa, Jeron Wilson and Kareem Campbell.....Keep on Shining.
FOURSTAR
The Fourstar Clothing company was established in 1996 by Girl team riders Eric Kostan and Guy Mariano so they could bridge the gap between skate clothing and higer grade 'fashion' styles. Together with Rick Howard and Mike Carroll, the line was created to combine comfort and function with high quality fabrics. The team also includes Brian Anderson, PJ Ladd, Paul Rodriguez, Max Schaaf and Mark Gonzales.

BIRDHOUSE
Birdhouse skateboards was started by Tony Hawk and Per Welinder in 1994, and has now established itself as one of the largest skateboard manufacturers in world. Tony Hawk was the first person in the world to complete a 900 degree spin, he is considered by todays standards as the Michael Jordan of skateboarding. Other team riders include Willy Santos, Jeremy Klein, Brian Sumner, actor Tom Green, vert champion Bucky Lasek, Vinny Vegas, Shaun White and Donny Barley.
